I’ve been told I need to complete the EWA by 1st October to meet EAS requirements – is that correct?

We have been made aware that some training providers are advising individuals they must complete their EWA by 1 October 2026 to avoid issues with their certification. This advice is incorrect.

The EAS changes taking effect from October 2026 do not relate to core competence, and do not introduce a mandatory deadline for completing the EWA.
